Terminal unit AGSS

Terminal unit AGSS

SWISS optio terminal unit AGSS

The terminal unit AGSS at a glance:

  • Attractive, functional design
  • Full metal and robust
  • Service-friendly and long-lasting
  • For use in hospitals, clinics and emergency services

The terminal unit AGSS (Anaesthetic Gas Scavenging System) serves to channel off in a controlled manner excess anaesthetic gas.

The negative pressure (vacuum), which is required by the AGSS terminal unit for the extraction of the excess and exhaled anaesthetic gas, is generated via an integrated ejector operated with medical air. The extraction is carried out using a hose which is connected via a connector (1L) corresponding to the EN ISO 9170-2 standard to the AGSS terminal unit.

By coupling the hose, the AGSS terminal unit will be put into operation. An optical operating indicator (green light) indicates operation of the AGSS terminal unit.

The terminal unit AGSS is for assembling in ducts or for flush mounted installations. Because it is made of solid metal, the AGSS terminal unit is very robust and correspondingly durable.

The terminal unit AGSS complies with the requirements of the standard EN ISO 9170-2. CE marking according to the Guideline for Medical Products 93/42/EEC, Appendix IX, Class IIa.
